The page is dedicated to another passion of Dr. Brineys; MUSIC! Dr. Briney has been involved with live music and performance since age 8. He has kept this passion close to his heart and has continuously brought fellow music lovers together for performances and education. Through his long years, he has played with many musicians ranging from Styx to The Tonight Show Band with Jay Leno. In 2003, Dr. Briney bought The Renaissance in Dana Point where he plays drums with The Dana Lefler Band every  Wednesday night.  His goal in buying The Renaissance was to provide a historical place for everyone to enjoy LIVE music on a NIGHTLY basis. Since 2003, there have been hundreds of musicians grace the stage and put their talent on display. The Renaissance is also the head sponser of The Doheny Blues Festival where musicians like Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Little Richard and Etta James have performed. Dr. Briney and his family have also been involved with Heart 4 Africa. Heart 4 Africa is a non-profit organization that was formed by Dr. Briney's sister and her husband; Annette and Mike Biggers.
