Dr. Briney has incorporated the most advanced education into his protocol and treatment for his cosmetic patients. These procedures are a permanent solution for patients that think that there isn't any hope to transform their smile. Dr. Briney utilizes the mind set of transforming faces not just smiles. Anyone can make pretty teeth, but it takes a skill to look outside the mouth to design the perfect smile that is customized to compliment the patients face. Dr. Briney uses only the most reputable dental laboratories to work hand in hand with to start the process. He then takes over the design process utilizing the most advanced computer software which allows him to personally design each and every tooth. Once the veneers or crowns are made through his CAD/CAM system; he personally stains and glazes each tooth with life-like character and nuances creating the most natural looking smile. Dr. Briney also correlates his Facial Aesthetics knowledge to assist in further Smile/Facial Design (see section under Facial Aesthetics).

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin pieces of porcelain used to recreate the natural look of teeth, while also providing strength and resilience comparable to natural tooth enamel. It is often the material of choice for those looking to make slight position alterations, or to change tooth shape, size, and/or color.Porcelain laminate veneers consist of a compilation of several thin ceramic layers which replace original tooth enamel, and an adhesive layer. To apply a veneer, a very small amount of the original tooth enamel must be removed, usually less than a millimeter. This is essential as it creates room for the porcelain veneer to fit within the mouth and most accurately restore natural tooth function while creating an even better appearance than the original tooth.

PORCELAIN CROWNS

Dental porcelain can be sculpted to closely replicate the look of natural tooth enamel, while providing desirable strength and resilience. Porcelain crowns are an excellent choice when recreating the form and function of a damaged tooth, because a crown basically replaces the entire external portion of the tooth down to the gum level. Crowns are not limited to simply replacing the original tooth, but can be designed to create an even better esthetic appearance. Crowns are the treatment of choice in situations where tooth decay has destroyed most of the original tooth, when a traumatic event has caused damage, or in cases of severe enamel erosion. They are also an option for people who grind and clench their teeth so much that the original structure of their teeth has been compromised.

The ClearCorrect Clear Aligner System combines advanced 3-D computer graphics technology with 100-year-old science of orthodontics. Clear aligners are designed to move your teeth in small steps to the desired final position prescribed by Dr. Briney. Each clear aligner is precisely calibrated and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of the treatment plan.

Clear aligners are often referred to as invisible braces. This is because the clear aligners are clear and many people won't be able to tell you are wearing them. Another wonderful aspect of these clear braces is that they are removable allowing for better dental hygiene, ease when eating, and flexibility in social situations
